Jin Y. Kim has donated holiday cards for 4 years

JIN Y. KIM, owner of PHOTO LAB, 16324 Bryant Road, Lake Oswego, has supplied printed holiday cards for Project POOCH pro bono (comparable to a donation of $1,000). This is the fourth year that our good friend Mr. Kim has donated the cards we send to our donors.



MICHAEL MAGAURN, Magaurn Video Media, Inc., for producing pro bono a $5,000 promotional video that debuted at POOCH In the Pub.

MARGIE BOULÉ for her wonderful writeup of Project POOCH published in her column in The Oregonian on Thanksgiving Day.

KARL LINZMEYER and SARAH DOERING at Willlamette Week for pro bono advertising, and GREEN DOG PET SUPPLY, Portland, for an ad that helped find a home for POOCH dog Gabby.

PETCO for monthly donations of kennel supplies and dog treats to support Project POOCH.

HEALTHY PET WEST LINN and CASTOR & POLLUX PETWORKS for supplying free dog food and healthy treats to the kennels.

The PROJECT ENTERPRISE VOLUNTEERS for preparing the newsletter for bulk mailing.

Volunteer TOM STEINHOFF, not only does he run errands and pickup dogs, he repairs broken window blinds.

GEORGE KNOP - a dog’s best friend. He picks them out, picks them up, and delivers them to good homes.

CHARLIE ALLIS for donating money to buy raincoats for the youths. He also conducts practice interviews with youths preparing for job hunting, and is offering a seminar to the youths on “How to Start a Small Business in Oregon.”

TED PAUL for a presentation about POOCH that warmed the hearts of the Salem Women of the Scottish Rite.

SANDY and JERRY ZIMMER and MARSHA ZAGYVA for bringing art materials, pumpkins, and pizza to Project POOCH for a Halloween pumpkin decorating party. The Zimmers have made this event an annual special occasion that is eagerly anticipated and appreciated by the youths.

Special guests who made the effort to visit the kennels this fall to share their experience and expertise with the POOCH youths: LISA and AL HOLZER of Bark Busters, dog massage therapists LAURIE AUSTIN and RUBI SULLIVAN, MARY ANN GAFFNEY and LYNN HEMINGWAY of the Willamette Great Dane Club, and VICKI CHANDLER of the Oregon Greyhound Association.

HELEN BALL, DEACON THOMAS LANG, and Prison Ministries Commission of The Episcopal Diocese of Oregon for a generous donation to POOCH youths in need of rain coats, hats, and gloves while walking dogs in the cold and rain.

BEN STOCKMAN who made it possible to hold the luncheon for the volunteers at Gino's Restaurant in Sellwood.
