KEIRA is little bashful around new people but she warms up as she gains confidence.
She is also shy when she meets new dogs, and needs to be introduced carefully to make sure they get along.
She has been spayed and has all her shots and a micro-chip. Plus, she's house trained, and works on obedience
training with her handler daily. Keira is a high energy, playful dog, and needs a home without small children and
where she can get lots of exercise.

LITTLE BUDDY has been neutered, micro-chipped, and is up to date on his shots.
He loves people and loves to play. A very active and high energy dog, he needs a home where he will be
able to exercise daily and where he can be the only dog. His handler believes he will be a great candidate for agility training after he finishes basic obedience

SASSY II has been around the block and back --- she's an old gal, but still a pup at heart.
Her handler says she is eager to please and has a great attitude. (You can teach this old dog new tricks.)
Sassy is good natured but choosy about making friends with
other dogs - she prefers proper introductions.
She has been spayed, and has all of her shots plus a micro-chip. Now she just needs
somebody to give her the love and attention she really deserves.

Male, Black Lab Mix
3 years-old, 48 lbs
REX is a sweet boy who adores affection, and loves everyone.
However, he prefers picking his own canine friends, and will need to meet the other dogs in
the house before he is adopted. He has been
neutered and micro-chipped, and has had all his vaccinations.
Rex is easy to train because he is very food motivated.

ZOEY
Female, Yellow Labrador Retriever
1 year-old, 65 lbs.
ZOEY is very food motivated and will overeat if she is allowed to. She also needs daily exercise to stay trim and physically fit.
But it's not hard to keep her active, since she is very energetic and loves to retrieve balls. Zoey chooses her dog friends carefully and will need to be
introduced to any other dogs to make sure they get along. On the other hand, she seems to be okay with cats
(maybe she'd rather chase her ball), and likes older children. She has all her shots and a micro-chip, and has been spayed.

AMELIA
Female, Black Lab / Shepherd Mix
2-1/2 years-old, 65 lbs
AMELIA is full of energy and playfulness. She is working with her handler every day
and is a very good student. Amelia is discriminating when it comes to other dogs and will need to be introduced
to any other pets to insure they are compatible.
She is spayed, and has a micro-chip and her vaccinations. Amelia needs lots of attention and daily exercise.

MAYA was found wandering the streets of Hood River, OR, with a heavy chain around her
neck. She loves to play with balls, and her trainer says she is energetic, playful, and smart.
She now has a micro-chip and her shots, and has been spayed. Maya is picky about her friends, so she will
need to be introduced to other dogs in the family before she is adopted.

picky when it comes to making friends with other dogs, and she chases cats.

SHREK is a male, 2-year-old, 60 lb, Yellow Lab mix.
He has been neutered, has his shots, and a micro-chip.
He was adopted from Project POOCH over a year ago,
and we were sure he'd found his forever home. Unfortunately
his family circumstances changed, and now he needs to be
re-homed.
This is a great dog! He is trained and has his Canine Good Citizen Certificate.
A desirable home for Shrek would be with an active couple with no children or with a single person who likes to hike and will give him with lots of outdoor exercise.

MIDNIGHT is a 60-lb, 10 month-old Labrador Retriever male - black as the midnight sky.
He has been neutered, micro-chipped, and vaccinated.
Midnight is fun-loving, outgoing, eager to please, and intelligent.
He is currently working with his handler daily to learn basic obedience and earn
his Canine Good Citizen Certificate. Midnight is good with other dogs and great with
people. He is a high energy dog and needs to be with people who can give him lots
of activity and exercise. Because of his size, energy and exuberance, he should be
in a home with older kids who won't be “bowled over” by him.

NORA is an Australian Cattle Dog Mix - energetic and intelligent. She is spayed, vaccinated, and has a micro-chip.
Playful and fun, active dog who needs a home with children over the age of 14 as she is a herding breed and might want to "herd" small children.
She needs a home with no cats as she will chase them. Nora loves walks, playing fetch and taking car rides. She is picky about her dog friends
so will need to be introduced carefully to other dogs in the home.

REDD has all his shots and a micro-chip and he's been neutered. He is great with other dogs;
loves people and has excellent manners.
He is a high energy dog and needs lots of exercise (he loves to chase balls).
Because of his young age, he would probably be best placed in a home with children over age 10.
He is working on his Canine Good Citizen Certificate and house breaking.
